Brief info
Tiberius Barasa is a Bachelor of Education Arts (English and Literature) Teacher at Ken Obura Secondary School in Kisumu and a KNEC examiner. Formerly a long serving Secretary of BETA - an English Language Teacher Association bringing together Teachers of English in Siaya, he is currently the Vice-Chairman of ELPAK. Through BETA, he has organized a number of teacher Workshops that enhanced professional development. He has also been part of Panels that have successfully prepared publications and other learning materials for use in the classroom by the teachers.He also attended massive open online course (MOOC), facilitated by Arizona State University. He also successfully completed the OPEN course Fall 2022(Fostering Student Motivation and Engagement). He is currently undertaking an online course in Global Citizenship in the English Language Classroom (Virtual Exchange).
